Animation: three cases of May 2026 pass the five rule levels. SpreeFuel at €5,478.25 has the high-value reason; the firm standard reviews from €5,000.00, so it goes to Review individually. The charging session without a receipt has no input VAT; at €58.70 it stays below the firm standard's €250.00 and goes to Confirm together. The tyre quote is a document without a booking; the required level keeps it in Review individually.

OCR extracts information from a document. DeinHans works across invoices, contracts, bank transactions and payout statements to prepare the monthly books. It connects entries with payments and evidence, identifies unresolved questions and organises the work for your firm’s review.
Can we inspect or change what Hans prepares?
Yes. You can open a case, inspect its documents, payment allocation and proposed entry, and make corrections. Your firm confirms or approves the work. Month close posts approved entries that remain unposted and locks the period; approval, posting and closing stay visible.
What needs individual review?
Your rules determine which review reasons and amounts require individual attention, for example a large transaction or missing VAT evidence. Rules can apply across the firm, to an industry or to one client. A requested professional review or a document without a booking always requires individual review. Other eligible proposals can be confirmed together.
Can we keep DATEV and our existing workflow?
Yes. Your firm can continue using DATEV for its established work, such as payroll. DeinHans prepares monthly bookkeeping and exports the reviewed books in DATEV format with SKR03 accounts, tax keys and document references. We align the setup with you; the export is not live two-way synchronisation.
What remains with the tax firm?
Your firm sets the review standards, resolves professional questions and gives final approval. Tax advice, filings and annual accounts remain with you. Clients can supply records and clarify business matters without being asked to make tax decisions.
How can we assess this on our own clients?
Start with a free 30-minute demo using sample records. If the workflow fits, we help you set up one suitable client for a free 30-day trial covering one bookkeeping month. You assess the records, review quality and effort with your team. No credit card or automatic paid subscription is required.
Ariel Ben Shushan, co-founder of DeinHans, walks you through a complete sample month. Inspect the bookings, follow the evidence and see what your team would review.
