What does DeinHans mean by final books?

A completed monthly bookkeeping result: authorised evidence is connected, entries balance, payments are reconciled and open items are explicit.

Final books are the inspectable monthly output of the DeinHans Engine. They are ready for owner use or tax-firm review; they do not include tax advice, filing, annual accounts or professional acceptance.
01

Evidence remains attached

Every result keeps its route back to the source and the business facts that support it.

  • Original source
  • Duplicate control
  • Visible processing history
02

Accounting is complete or visibly open

Balanced entries, payment matches and account reconciliation are shown together with unresolved exceptions.

  • Balanced journal
  • Reconciled payments
  • Explicit open items
03

Responsibility stays clear

The handoff shows what Hans completed and which actor owns any professional decision or filing step.

  • Owner receipt
  • Tax-firm review package
  • Correction history

Follow a month through four cases

Four cases. Keep the relationships visible.

Evidence, bookkeeping context and payments belong together. Open the cases to see the work a connected monthly process removes and the specific decision that remains.

Illustrative evidence pack with fictional amounts. These are teaching examples, not customer records, product exports or proof of automatic processing. They illustrate parts of a month; an unresolved item is not presented as a closed month.

01Invoice, credit and two payments€1,200 − €200 − €400 − €600 = €0 remaining.

Source evidence

  • Invoice: €1,200 initially payable
  • Supplier credit: €200 reduction
  • Two bank payments: €400 and €600

Connected working result

The four items explain the settlement of one obligation when their identities and references support the relationship.

Remaining decision

Remove the credit evidence and €200 remains unexplained. Matching arithmetic alone does not establish the supplier identity or tax treatment.

02Payout P-204: gross activity to bank€10,000 reported activity becomes an €8,200 bank receipt.

Source evidence

  • Sales groups: €8,400 + €1,600
  • Refund: −€450; fees: −€800 and −€150
  • Chargeback: −€200; reserve: −€300; reserve released: +€100
  • Bank receipt with reference P-204: €8,200

Connected working result

The components reconcile arithmetically to the bank amount. The reserve movement remains distinct from a fee.

Remaining decision

The downloadable review file deliberately keeps evidence questions open. Tax treatment, source completeness and each component's business meaning still require their own checks.

03Payroll elsewhere, payment onceFollow one €6,000 net-pay liability into a bank payment.

Source evidence

  • Existing payroll/accounting record: net-pay liability €6,000
  • Bank evidence: payment €6,000
  • Agreed account relationship and owner of the bank-side posting

Connected working result

The combined workflow can explain the payment against the existing liability without producing the payroll expense again.

Remaining decision

This is one component, not a complete payroll journal. Check timing, mapping and duplicate payment-side processing before accepting the combined result.

04An unexplained transfer stays visibleA fictional €250 bank debit has no sufficient purpose evidence yet.

Source evidence

  • Bank record: €250 debit
  • No reliable invoice or explanatory source yet
  • A concrete question to the business about the payment's purpose

Connected working result

The useful output is a bounded open case with the available evidence and a named next question, not an invented invoice or account assignment.

Remaining decision

The business supplies the missing fact. Any professional treatment decision goes to the responsible reviewer. The case is not complete merely because a plausible explanation exists.

From individual cases to the complete month

The actual month needs complete sources, traceable entries and completed review. The files below illustrate part of that path; they are not a complete accounting export.

  1. Company, period and expected source coverage are explicit.
  2. Entries and balances can be traced to the supporting evidence.
  3. Payment and settlement relationships explain remaining amounts.
  4. Unresolved items and decisions have a visible owner and status.
  5. The receiving format, master-data identities and acceptance checks are agreed.
